For students, including beginners, looking for a traditional yoga class. Bear Yoga is a comprehensive, balanced class with a steady flow, relaxation between asanas (yoga poses), and guided instructions throughout. Custom designed with our bear bodies in mind (meaning, no prior experience is needed), all who identify as "male" and all body types are welcome!
Our Bear Yoga Instructor for the afternoon is Brian Swope. Brian started doing yoga fourteen years ago at the 12th Street Gym. He teaches and is currently pursuing a RYT 500 hour training at Sanctuary Yoga and Mindfullness. Brian is eager to bring his bear yoga class to Pawed.

Do I need to have yoga experience or skills already?
No, not at all! This is a judgment-free room where all levels of experience are welcome. It's great introduction to yoga for all of you beginners out there.
What should I wear?
Wear whatever is comfortable to you. Shorts & t-shirt are standard, and you can change once you arrive at the studio.
What else do I need to bring other than a change of clothes?
Nothing! Mats are provided in studio for free.
You can bring a water bottle, there is a watercooler in the William Way Center.
Is there another class or event after yoga ends?
